This morning Signia have released a teaser to announce the launch of a brand new form factor for individuals with mild-moderate hearing impairment.
They have deliberately kept it vague but from the video teaser it looks like a very thin metal BTE (behind the ear) hearing aid. This receiver will certainly be in the ear but there could be a twist as they are calling it a new form factor.
It looks ultra slim in a beautiful brushed metal finsh. The video shows it to have directional microphones but there doesnt seem to be room for a size 10 battery and so I suspect that they have developed rechargeable lithium-ion technology to fit in to this new design.
The official announcement is on the 27th August 2018.
